RMA will provide you with member labels for marketing your business or products.  Cost is 15¢ per label.


Provide us with 50 items to be delivered to businesses in the community.  We provide information packets to RMA new and potential members in the area.  We’ll do the leg work for you and get those products in the hands of local businesses.  Cost is $25 per 50 items.

Continuing Education

RMA Workshops

Retail Merchants Association hosts various workshops annually to assist small businesses.  In addition, we have a monthly Business eXpress which is an informal group meeting to learn about relevant topics to help you grow your business.

Trade Show/Expos – RMA has participated in area Trade -Shows and Buy Local expos. Education is the key to our Buy Local initiative.

SCORE (Counselors to America’s Small Business)

Retail Merchants Association is partnering with SCORE to present members and potential members with experienced volunteer business counselors. SCORE provides confidential advice and assistance to new or existing small businesses on request and at NO COST. Services include: Business Planning, Loan Assistance, Marketing, Legal Entity of your Business, Pricing Products/Services, and Financial Analysis.

How Healthy Is Your Business? SCORE has developed a brief questionnaire to help determine if you need to address key issues to keep your business healthy. If you answer “NO” to any of the questions, SCORE can assist you in developing a plan for success.  Visit the website for more information.

In partnership with VRMA, your employees can now take advantage of online training courses on a variety of subjects.The topics are categorized in the following series:

The Business Development Centre, Inc. (BDC) offers the aspiring and existing small business owner the opportunity to develop a strong, healthy business.
